🕒 Available Shift Blocks – Personal Support Worker Arcare Essendon

Successful candidates must be available for one or more of the following shift patterns:

PM Shifts

  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Sunday: 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM
  • Wednesday & Thursday: 2:30 PM – 10:00 PM

Day Shifts

  • Saturday & Sunday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Night Shifts

  • Monday to Thursday: 10:00 PM – 7:15 AM

As a Personal Support Worker Arcare Essendon, you will deliver high-quality personal, social, and emotional care while promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing. You will work closely with nursing staff and allied health professionals to support residents’ daily needs.

✅ Key Responsibilities

Personal & Daily Care

  • Assisting residents with showering, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Maintaining privacy and dignity at all times

Mobility & Transfers

  • Supporting safe movement, walking, and transfers
  • Assisting with mobility aids and repositioning

Health Monitoring

  • Observing and reporting changes in health or behaviour
  • Accurately documenting care in eCase

Nutrition Support

  • Assisting residents during meals
  • Supporting dietary requirements and hydration

Team Collaboration

  • Working alongside nurses, doctors, and care teams
  • Ensuring best-practice aged care outcomes

🎓 Skills & Experience Required

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent
  • Passion for aged care and resident wellbeing
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a supportive environment
