About the Role – Home Care Worker
As a Home Care Worker Moonee Ponds, you will support clients across Melbourne’s North and West Metro areas, particularly within the Moonee Valley region.
You will travel between clients’ homes and provide personalised care that supports independence, wellbeing, and quality of life.

Employment Details
- Job Title: Home Care Worker
- Location: Moonee Ponds, Melbourne VIC
- Employment Type: Part-Time
- Minimum Hours: 20 hours per fortnight
- Availability Required: At least 3 weekdays per week (daytime)
- Hourly Rate: $34.72 – $37.65 per hour + Super
- Salary Packaging: Available
Key Responsibilities
In this Home Care Worker Moonee Ponds role, your duties will include:
- Providing personal care such as showering, grooming, and mobility assistance
- Assisting with meal preparation and household tasks
- Offering social support and transport to appointments or activities
- Supporting clients’ cultural, spiritual, and individual preferences

Essential Qualifications & Requirements
To be eligible for this Home Care Worker Moonee Ponds role, you must have:
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Aged or Disability),
or be studying Diploma / Bachelor of Nursing - Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Current Victorian Driver’s Licence
- Your own registered vehicle with valid insurance
- Working With Children Check
- National Police Check and NDIS Clearance
- Current and ongoing flu vaccination
- Australian working rights
Experience in home care or domestic support is desirable but not essential.
