About the Personal Care Assistant Role

As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting residents with their daily living needs while maintaining dignity, respect, and independence. You will work closely with nursing and care teams to ensure residents receive consistent, high-quality care aligned with individual care plans.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Supporting residents with nutrition and hydration in a timely manner
• Ensuring all care is delivered respectfully and with dignity
• Accurately documenting daily care notes and observations
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of Residential Care Standards
• Collaborating with the care team to complete assessments and records

Skills and Qualifications Required

To be successful as a Personal Care Assistant, you will ideally have:
