🧑⚕️ Personal Care Worker – Residential Aged Care | Calvary Brighton-Le-Sands

In this role, you will be part of a supportive, integrated care team, playing a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care that enables residents to live with choice, dignity, and independence.

- Employment Type: Permanent Part-Time
- Hours: 75 hours per fortnight
- Shifts: PM shifts only

🩺 Key Responsibilities – Personal Care Worker Role
As a Personal Care Worker, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting residents to live the life they choose, promoting independence and autonomy
- Contributing to residents’ physical, emotional, and lifestyle needs through assessment and observation
- Assisting with personal care and hygiene, while encouraging independence
- Implementing clinical and care interventions as delegated by the Registered Nurse
- Delivering care in line with individual care plans
- Maintaining residents’ privacy, dignity, and self-esteem
- Following Work Health & Safety (WHS) and Infection Control standards
- Actively contributing to continuous quality improvement
🎓 About You – Skills & Experience Required
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent recognised qualification
- Experience working with older adults, including dementia care
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritise workloads in a busy care environment
- Demonstrated empathy, flexibility, and patience
- Commitment to delivering holistic, person-centred care
- Working knowledge of WHS and Infection Control
