🧑⚕️ Personal Support Worker / Personal Care Assistant – Arcare Craigieburn
Arcare is seeking dedicated Personal Support Workers (Personal Care Assistants) to join our Craigieburn aged care residence on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for care professionals who are passionate about resident wellbeing, dignity, and relationship-based care.
You will play a vital role in supporting residents’ personal, social, and emotional needs, contributing to their overall health, comfort, and quality of life.
🕒 Shift Patterns & Availability (Mandatory)
Candidates must be able to commit to ONE of the following shift patterns:
- Monday to Friday – 7:00am to 3:00pm
OR
- Tuesday to Friday – 7:00am to 2:00pm

🩺 Key Responsibilities – Personal Support Worker Role
As a Personal Support Worker / PCA, your duties will include:
- Personal care assistance (showering, dressing, toileting, grooming)
- Mobility support, including transfers and use of mobility aids
- Monitoring and reporting changes in residents’ health or behaviour
- Meal assistance in line with dietary and nutritional requirements
- Maintaining accurate care documentation using eCase
- Collaborating with nurses and healthcare professionals
- Providing emotional and social support aligned with Arcare’s values
🎓 Skills & Experience Required
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Australian Working Rights
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A caring, adaptable, and passionate attitude
- Willingness to learn and grow in the aged care sector
