About the Community Support Worker Role
As a Community Support Worker, you will deliver high-quality care and support to clients in their own homes across the Macarthur area. You will work closely with clients and their families to build positive, respectful, and trusting relationships that enhance everyday living.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing domestic assistance, including cleaning and household tasks
- Supporting personal care needs, such as grooming and hygiene
- Assisting with medication support as required
- Offering social support and companionship
- Supporting clients with daily activities to maintain independence
- Working with aged care and disability clients in a person-centred way
Community Support Workers play a vital role in improving quality of life and promoting independence for people within the community.
Employment Details & Pay Rates
- Employment Type: Permanent Part-Time
- Location: Macarthur Square, Sydney NSW
- Hourly Pay Rate: $31.13 – $32.86 per hour (depending on experience)
- Paid travel time between clients
- Kilometre reimbursement
- Salary packaging benefits on top of hourly rate

Essential Requirements
To be successful as a Community Support Worker, you will need:
- Certificate III in a care-related field (or working towards – training support available)
- Current First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Working With Children Check
- NDIS Worker Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid Driver’s Licence with an insured vehicle
- A genuine commitment to supporting aged and disability clients
- A caring, professional, and personable approach
