We are currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable Food Services Assistants (FSA) for casual roles at our Residential Aged Care Facility Melbourne VIC.
✅ Key Responsibilities:
- Serve meals and beverages in a caring and professional manner.
- Assist in meal preparation, food presentation, and dietary compliance.
- Ensure dining rooms are clean, well-presented, and welcoming.
- Follow all protocols outlined in the Food Safety Program.
- Deliver meals according to residents’ specific dietary and nutritional needs.
- Promote a positive and respectful dining environment.
🧑🍳 About You:
- Previous experience in aged care, hospitality, hospital, or kitchen settings (preferred).
- Holds a valid Food Handling & Hygiene Certificate.
- Knowledge of Australian Food Standards and safe food practices.
- Friendly, respectful, and team-oriented with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
🛡️ Mandatory Requirements:
- Current National Police Check or NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination (3 doses) and current flu vaccination (or willingness to obtain).
- Completion of a pre-employment screening declaration.
