About the Home Care Support Worker Role

As a Home Care Support Worker, you will deliver in-home support services tailored to each client’s needs, preferences, and goals. Your work will help older Australians remain connected to their communities while maintaining independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing help at home, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
• Assisting with personal care such as showering, toileting, feeding, and grooming
• Supporting clients with transport to appointments, shopping, and social outings
• Building strong relationships with clients and their families
• Observing and reporting changes in clients’ wellbeing
• Following health, safety, and infection control guidelines
• Supporting client choice, dignity, and independence at all times

This Home Care Support Worker role involves working across Inner West Sydney and surrounding suburbs, including Concord, Strathfield, Burwood, Ashfield, Leichhardt, Dulwich Hill, Stanmore, Balmain, Rozelle, Canterbury, and Marrickville.

Pay, Contract Types and Benefits

• $31.13 to $34.93 per hour (based on experience)
• 12% superannuation
• Paid travel time
• $0.92 per kilometre travel allowance
• Permanent part-time or casual contracts (based on availability and location)

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Experience and Qualifications Welcome
