About the Home Care Worker Role

As a Home Care Worker, you will provide compassionate, high-quality care to clients within their own homes across Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Your support will help clients feel safe, respected, and empowered to live independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Domestic Assistance – Supporting with household tasks such as washing, ironing, vacuuming, and dusting
• Meal Preparation – Assisting with meal planning, preparation, and cooking
• Personal Care Support – Helping with showering, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
• Social Engagement – Providing companionship and encouraging participation in social and community activities
• Transport Services – Assisting with transport to appointments, shopping, and social outings
• Providing emotional support and building trusting relationships with clients

This Home Care Worker position offers flexibility and variety while allowing you to work close to home within your local community.

What You’ll Bring

To succeed as a Home Care Worker, you will be a kind, patient, and respectful individual with a genuine passion for enhancing the lives of older people.

Essential Requirements

• Valid NSW Driver’s Licence
• Reliable NSW C Class motor vehicle for travel between client locations
• Current accredited First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain)
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations (highly recommended)
• Basic computer and smartphone literacy

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience in home care, aged care, or community support
• Experience assisting older people with daily living activities
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
