🩺 Key Responsibilities – Personal Care Assistant

As a PCA, you will:

• Deliver high-quality personal care in line with residents’ individual needs
• Support residents with daily living activities while promoting dignity and independence
• Work in accordance with the Aged Care Quality Standards
• Provide care across day, afternoon, overnight, and weekend shifts
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and care teams
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow facility policies and procedures
• Work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Contribute positively to a supportive and respectful care environment

🎓 Essential Qualifications & Requirements

To be considered, you must have:

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) – mandatory
• Previous experience in the aged care sector
• Sound knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

• Willingness to complete:
  • Reference checks
  • National Police Check (arranged by the organisation)
