About the Role

As a Personal Care Worker Camberwell Melbourne, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care to residents while working closely with nurses and multidisciplinary teams.

This role involves supporting residents with daily living activities, recognising changes in condition, and delivering care that respects each person’s cultural, emotional, and spiritual needs.

Available Part-Time Shifts

The following fixed shift lines are available:

Morning Shift

• 07:00 am – 1:30 pm
• Thursday, Friday & Saturday (both weeks)

Afternoon Shift (Fixed Term)

• 2:45 pm – 8:30 pm
• Sunday, Monday & Tuesday (both weeks)

Night Shift

• 9:45 pm – 7:15 am
• Sunday, Monday & Tuesday (both weeks)

Key Responsibilities

As a Personal Care Worker Camberwell Melbourne, you will:

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred care aligned with individual care plans
• Provide personal care including hygiene, mobility support, and daily living assistance
• Support residents with dementia, palliative care, restorative care, and pain management
• Monitor resident wellbeing and escalate changes to nursing staff
• Assist with documentation, assessments, and care evaluations
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive care environment

About You

This Personal Care Worker Camberwell Melbourne role is ideal if you have:

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent
• Experience in residential aged care or home care (desirable)
• Experience supporting dementia and palliative care residents (desirable)
• Strong communication skills in both team and one-to-one settings
• Ability to work in a fast-paced care environment

To work in aged care, you must have:

• Current Working With Children Check
• Current and ongoing flu vaccination
• Australian working rights
