💙 Personal Care Worker / Personal Care Assistant – Aged Care (Casual)

Karana Community, our Residential Aged Care facility in Kew, Victoria, is welcoming new residents and seeking reliable and compassionate Personal Care Workers to join the team on a casual basis.

🩺 Key Responsibilities – Personal Care Worker

In this role, you will:

Support residents to achieve their personal goals and live with dignity
Deliver care in line with individual care plans under the direction of a Registered Nurse
Provide personal care and daily living assistance
Accurately document care outcomes in Baptcare systems
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Build positive relationships with families, colleagues, and external stakeholders
Report workplace and consumer risks in line with organisational policies
Uphold Baptcare’s values, safety standards, and code of conduct
Attend ongoing training to maintain skills and compliance

🎓 Essential Qualifications & Requirements

To be successful, you will need:

Certificate III in Aged Care (minimum)
At least 12 months’ experience working in a Residential Aged Care facility
A customer-focused mindset and genuine passion for aged care
Strong attention to detail, reliability, and integrity
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team
A flexible and positive attitude
Right to work in Australia
Willingness to complete:
- National Criminal History Check
- Medical assessment for physical capacity
