The Role
Karana Community, a BaptistCare residential aged‑care facility in Kew, VIC, is welcoming new residents and hiring casual Personal Care Assistants. Flexible hours – mornings, afternoons, nights, weekdays and weekends – are available.

Key Duties

• Listen to residents, understand their goals, and support them to achieve those goals.
• Follow care plans and work to a scheduled roster under the direction of a registered nurse.
• Document outcomes in BaptistCare records.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement activities.
• Build relationships with families, agencies, and stakeholders.
• Report workplace and resident risks to management.
• Attend regular training to maintain skills.

Essential Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care (minimum).
• At least 12 months experience in an aged‑care setting.
• Customer‑focused, honest, reliable, and flexible.
• Able to maintain confidentiality and work collaboratively.
