  • Shifts Available: AM, PM & Night shifts

🩺 Key Responsibilities – Care Service Employee Role

As a Care Service Employee, your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering person-centred care aligned with residents’ individual needs
  • Assisting residents with daily living and personal care
  • Supporting medication assistance under relevant guidelines
  • Monitoring residents’ changing care needs and supporting AN-ACC reviews
  • Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and records
  • Following WHS and infection control procedures
  • Communicating effectively with residents, families, and care teams
  • Working collaboratively to continuously improve care quality

🎓 About You – Skills & Experience Required

To succeed in this aged care role, you will have:

  • Certificate III or IV in Aged Care
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Experience assisting with medication
  • Strong understanding of person-centred care
  • Knowledge of WHS and infection control principles
  • Computer literacy and documentation experience
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to continuous improvement
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • National Police Check
  • Evidence of two doses of COVID-19 vaccination

Monitoring residents’ care needs requires a keen observational skill set, as changes can occur suddenly. Regular assessments and communication with healthcare professionals are essential to ensure that any adjustments to care plans are made promptly and effectively.
