About the Role:
As a Night Shift Aged Care Worker, you will work across multiple St Basil’s sites, delivering exceptional personal care and mobility support while ensuring residents’ psychological, emotional, spiritual, and physical well-being. Working closely with our nursing and care teams, you will contribute to creating a warm and respectful environment where residents feel valued and supported.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Provide personal care and mobility assistance tailored to each resident’s needs.
✔ Support residents with daily living activities, ensuring dignity and comfort.
✔ Work collaboratively with nurses and fellow care staff to deliver high-quality care.
✔ Foster a person-centered approach, respecting residents’ choices and preferences.
✔ Assist individuals with dementia care and emotional well-being.
✔ Maintain accurate documentation and communication to ensure continuity of care.
Essential Requirements:
✔ Availability for night shifts across St Basil’s Homes locations.
✔ Ability to travel between sites – Miranda, Kogarah, Lakemba, and Randwick.
✔ Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or Aged Care.
✔ Previous experience in residential aged care.
✔ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
✔ Passion for enhancing the lives of elderly residents.
✔ Understanding of dementia care and person-centered support.
✔ Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
