About the Aged Care Worker Role

As an Aged Care Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the physical, emotional, social, and psychological wellbeing of residents. Working collaboratively with the nursing team, you will deliver high-quality personal care tailored to individual needs and preferences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting residents with daily living activities
• Providing personal care and mobility support
• Supporting residents living with dementia
• Delivering person-centred care aligned with individual care plans
• Ensuring residents’ dignity, safety, and wellbeing
• Working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary care team

Salary & Employment Details

• Employment Type: Full Time & Casual
• Classification: Personal Care Level 1–3
• Hourly Rate: $31.31 – $34.59 per hour
• Enterprise Agreement: St Basil’s NSW/ACT Enterprise Agreement 2024

Essential Requirements

To be successful as an Aged Care Worker in Randwick, you must have:

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or Aged Care
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• Minimum 12 months experience in residential aged care
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Understanding of dementia care
• Ability to provide high-quality aged care services
• Respectful, person-centred approach
• Ability to work independently and within a team
