Holmesglen Private Hospital, is seeking a Food Services Assistant / Kitchen Hand to join our dedicated hotel services team in a part-time or casual capacity. Available Shift Times:
- Morning Shift: 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM
- Evening Shift: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
About Private Hospital
Private Hospital is a state-of-the-art, 147-bed acute private hospital, offering specialized services such as:
- Emergency care
- Coronary and cardiothoracic care
- Orthopaedic and general surgery
- 6-bed intensive care unit
- 9-bed acute coronary care unit
- 7 advanced operating theatres
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily food preparation and basic meal assembly
- Deliver, serve, and collect patient meal trays
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness, including dish and pot washing
- Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, staff, and clients
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations
What We’re Looking For:
- Authority to work in Australia
- Working with Children Check (if applicable)
- Previous hospitality or food service experience (preferred)
- Food Handler Certificate or Certificate III in Hospitality (desirable)
- Strong time management and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
