🧑‍⚕️ Personal Care Worker – Home Care (Melbourne Eastern Suburbs)

Bolton Clarke is currently seeking experienced Personal Care Workers to join our Home Care team in Burwood, Melbourne VIC. This is a full-time permanent role offering excellent work-life balance with no nights or weekends, competitive pay, and strong career development opportunities.

As a Personal Care Worker in community aged care, you will support clients to live safely, independently, and with dignity in their own homes.

✅ Key Responsibilities – Personal Care Worker Jobs

As a Personal Care Worker / Support Worker, your duties will include:

  • Providing personal care assistance (showering, grooming, hygiene)
  • Supporting clients with daily living activities at home
  • Assisting with transport to medical appointments
  • Encouraging independence, wellbeing, and positive ageing
  • Supporting clients to participate in social and community activities
  • Delivering client-centred care aligned with individual preferences and choices

🕒 Work Schedule & Coverage Area

  • Employment Type: Full-time permanent
  • Hours: 76 hours per fortnight
  • Shift Times:
    • Monday to Friday
    • 7:30am – 3:00pm or 4:00pm
  • No nights or weekends

📍 Service Areas Include:

Mont Albert, Burwood, Box Hill, Balwyn, Hawthorn, Camberwell, Kew, Glen Iris, Mulgrave, Mount Waverley, Mitcham, Blackburn and surrounding Melbourne suburbs.

🎓 Essential Requirements – Personal Care Worker Australia

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent)
  • 6–12 months experience in aged care or community care (preferred)
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • Australian working rights (Passport or Birth Certificate)
  • National Police Check (within last 3 years or willing to obtain)
  • Australian Driver’s Licence and access to your own vehicle
