About the Role – Personal Support Worker Croydon VIC

As a Personal Support Worker / Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting residents’ physical, emotional and social wellbeing while maintaining dignity, respect and independence.

Shift Details:

• Casual employment
• AM, PM & Night shifts available
• Must be available to work on-call across Monday to Sunday

Pay & Benefits:

• $32.85 – $37.35 per hour (VIC rates)
• Above award wages
• Allowances for uniforms, meals, shifts & public holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including showering, dressing, grooming and toileting
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers and use of mobility aids
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ health or behaviour
• Support residents during mealtimes and with dietary needs
• Accurately document care and observations using eCase
• Work collaboratively with nurses and healthcare professionals

Skills & Experience Required

To succeed as a Personal Support Worker in Croydon, you will need:

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent
• Passion for aged care and willingness to learn
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Friendly, adaptable and compassionate nature
• Australian working rights
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
