Your Role & Responsibilities:
🔹 Provide one-on-one and group peer support sessions to empower clients in their recovery.
🔹 Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to foster a compassionate and safe environment.
🔹 Offer guidance, encouragement, and lived-experience insights to individuals navigating mental health and substance use challenges.
🔹 Support clients in various settings, including:
- Westside Lodge Dual Diagnosis Rehabilitation Centre (30-bed residential service)
- Community Residential Withdrawal Units (Adult & Adolescent)
- Mental Health & AOD Hub at Sunshine Hospital Emergency Department
- Mental Health & AOD Outreach Service Team
About You:
✔ Lived experience with mental health and/or substance use recovery.
✔ Strong empathy, communication, and interpersonal skills.
✔ Passion for peer-led recovery support and advocacy.
✔ Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, person-centred care environment.
✔ Working with Children Check, Police Record Check, & Immunisation Clearance (or willingness to obtain).
